Real or fake?

Since ancient times, we are trying to tell whether or not our treasures were really valuable. Even the great physicist Archimedes spend quite a long time to know that the crown of King Hiero was not entirely made of gold.

People used to believe diamonds were made of lightning! That sounds really cool but it’s just outrageous. The simplest way to tell diamonds from it’s imposters is as easy as some fog, and that’s true! Breath some air to the diamond and if the fog disappears immediately, then congratulations! It’s probably a diamond. but if it doesn’t, you might have to call the police!

Another fact you need to know is about silver. If you have a questionable chunk of silver, you might have to do the ice test. Grab a large ice cube from the freezer, put it on top of the metal, then keep your eyes fixed on the ice’s reaction. If it start to melt quickly, then it’s real!

But these little tricks can’t be used all the time. I hope that it will be one day, we will no longer have to doubt each other!
